Lahti Energia Sähköverkko Oy takes care of electricity distribution and related services in Lahti and surrounding municipalities. In addition to Lahti and Hollola, our distribution network extends to parts of Iitti, Hämeenkoski and Asikkala. We are constantly developing our electricity network so that we can serve our customers better and more reliably in transmitting electricity to homes and businesses. As a city network, we are one of the most affordable transmission companies in Finland.
In addition to supplying electricity, we take care of electricity meters in our distribution area and offer our customers various advisory services. The transmission and sale of electricity are separate from each other. You can choose any electricity supplier for your contract, but your local electricity network company always provides electricity transmission.

We are replacing electricity meters for all our customers
Your electricity meter will be replaced with a new-generation meter in between 2026 and 2028. We replace the meters in collaboration with our partner Eltel. As part of this renewal, the replacement of your electricity meter is free of charge.
We will replace the electricity meters due to current meters reaching the end of their technical life. New meters meet updated requirements of the law and electricity distribution. The new meters allows you to monitor your electricity consumption more accurately. We receive information about power outages through the meter and can fix faults more quickly.
