Lahti Energia Sähköverkko Oy takes care of electricity distribution and the condition of the electricity network in Lahti and nearby municipalities. In addition to Lahti and Hollola, our distribution network extends to parts of Iitti, Hämeenkoski and Asikkala. In addition to supplying electricity, we take care of electricity meters in our distribution area and offer our customers various advisory services.

We provide you with an electricity connection, but we do not sell electricity. You can purchase electricity from the service provider of your choice. You can choose any electricity supplier for your contract, but we, your local electricity network company, always provide electricity transmission.

Order a new electricity connection

A new electricity connection is required when a property is connected to the electricity network for the first time. The planning and construction of a new connection may take 1-6 months. Order the connection as early as possible, at the latest immediately after receiving the building permit.

Are you moving?

When you move, terminate your electricity contract with the company from which you have been buying your electricity. The electricity transmission contract will be automatically updated in our information system based on the sales contract. You can check OmaWatti to make sure that your details have been updated.

Change in property ownership?

When the owner of a property changes, the electricity connection usually also changes owners. The connection is movable property that is not automatically transferred to the new owner. Instead, the transfer must be agreed upon in writing. The easiest way to take care of the change of ownership is to mention the transfer of the connection in the deed of sale of the property.
