Cooling for companies

Our cooling solutions offer a worry-free and energy-efficient way to cool your property. Our solutions enhance the comfort of your property by maintaining a comfortably consistent temperature even during the hottest months of the year.

We provide the right solution for your cooling needs. Cooling can be either district cooling or groundwater cooling.

District cooling is a solution where your property is connected to a cooling network. District cooling cools your property and waste heat is recycled back into use as district heating. Your cooling solution can also be groundwater cooling.

5 Reasons to Choose District or Groundwater Cooling

  1. As a customer, you don’t need to invest in cooling production.
  2. The cooling equipment is reliable, long-lasting, and almost invisible and silent.
  3. No separate condensers are needed for the property, which saves space. The cooling equipment also does not affect the building’s facade.
  4. Cooling can increase the attractiveness of your property and raise its value in a sales situation.
  5. Our customer support and maintenance services are available around the clock.

How Does District Cooling Work?

The principle of district cooling is similar to district heating, as the cooling water flows through the pipeline. However, the principle is reversed compared to district heating.

Cold district cooling water circulates in the building, absorbing heat energy. The heat from the warmed cooling water is then utilized in district heating production.

Lahti City Hall uses district cooling

District cooling has been used to cool down Lahti City Hall since summer 2023. The district cooling is produced with a combined heating and cooling (CHC) heat pump, the technology of which allows the surplus heat collected from the property to be utilised as part of the production of the district heating network. The district cooling network runs towards the City Hall from Harjukatu, and in the future, it will be possible to expand it to the new block area of Salininkatu, for example.
